About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and drive the UX vision for key areas of the game, with an emphasis on Live Service and Meta Systems
  • Contribute hands-on to UX design, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and documentation
  • Develop scalable UX frameworks that support Live Service features, events, and ongoing content
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to align UX with feature goals, player needs, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Art, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality player experiences
  • Ensure strong cohesion across systems, navigation, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Establish UX principles, standards, and best practices for development and iteration
  • Support the growth and execution of a UX design team across relevant areas
  • Drive continuous improvement based on player data, usability feedback, and live performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in UX design for games, with a strong focus on systems, live service, or player-facing experiences
  • Proven ability to define and deliver UX vision, from concept through live operations
  • Hands-on expertise in UX design, with the ability to create flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across Product, Design, Engineering, and Production
  • Experience designing for complex systems such as progression, storefronts, social features, or live content
  • Strong understanding of player behavior, usability principles, and engagement patterns
  • Experience leading or mentoring UX designers, with a track record of improving team output and quality
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe suite, or similar)
  • Passion for building high-quality player experiences
