About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Management of the overall Operations Incident review process including the weekly and fortnightly review meetings, Synergie Life management and reporting
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Operations standards, policies and procedures regarding the safe operation of the electricity system
  • Support the introduction new Operations policies, standards, and procedures
  • Produce Operations Content for the Monthly Safety Briefing
  • Provide support for Storms and other Emergencies
  • Contribute to the investigation of Operations Incidents and complete Actions arising from Operations Incident Investigation outcomes as Required
  • Support as required front line operations teams at the full range of Voltages from a policy and operations safety perspective
  • Support and carry out Operations and Maintenance Risk Assessments as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Either 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on delivering results
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience in writing or inputting to technical documents (desirable)
  • A working knowledge of ESBN Operations policies and procedures based on past experience (desirable)
