About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead weekly buy and inventory management for assigned categories, ensuring alignment to service and inventory targets.
Own Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and supplier investment strategies to balance availability and working capital.
Drive consensus demand planning with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning.
Proactively manage supply constraints and risk mitigation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Analyze in-stock, fill rate, and forecast accuracy performance, leading initiatives to improve KPIs.
Partner on promotional and lifecycle planning for demand shifts and new product introductions.
Lead excess and obsolete inventory reduction strategies through data-driven insights and cross-functional action plans.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices in demand planning workflows.
Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior planners.
Participate in or lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans.
Experience with ERP and planning systems such as P21, Slimstock, or similar.
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
Strategic mindset balancing short-term execution and long-term planning.
Strong influencing skills and ability to drive stakeholder alignment without direct authority.
Track record of improving forecast accuracy, service levels, or inventory productivity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven, and evolving environment.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Continuous improvement mindset focused on process standardization and efficiency.
