About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and multi-year roadmap protecting information assets, global distribution services, ecommerce, cloud solutions, and enterprise IT systems
  • Communicate cybersecurity posture and risk to Executive Management, the Audit and Compliance Committee, and the Board of Directors
  • Lead a central security team and coordinate matrixed security resources across global operations
  • Manage third-party and supply-chain cybersecurity risk
  • Quantify cyber risks in financial and operational terms and align security investments with revenue and sustainability goals
  • Promote a shared-responsibility and security-by-design culture across employees and global partners
  • Standardize global governance using frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
  • Assess and communicate acceptable risk levels across global markets and critical infrastructure projects
  • Develop, mentor, and manage a global team covering cloud, application, and product security
  • Establish cybersecurity policies, standards, and tooling supporting responsible AI adoption
  • Protect distribution operations, warehouse, transportation, storefront, customer service, point-of-sale, branch, edge-computing, and ecommerce environments
  • Leverage AI-driven security capabilities for threat detection and response
  • Ensure compliance with international data privacy laws and cybersecurity regulations
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Product Engineering on secure coding and infrastructure guidelines
  • Manage intrusion detection, vulnerability reporting, and remediation with Internal Audit and external partners
  • Develop security-program KPIs aligned with the NIST framework and monitor the global threat landscape
  • Own cyber resilience, operational recovery, business continuity, crisis management, and executive tabletop exercises
  • Oversee incident response and breach investigations with Legal and Communications
  • Create a comprehensive supply-chain risk management process and lead cybersecurity due diligence and post-acquisition integration for M&A
  • Support public-company governance, cybersecurity disclosures, SEC reporting, and Audit Committee oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 10–15 years of IT and/or business leadership experience
  • At least 7 years in senior information security/cybersecurity roles within a multinational organization
  • Proven track record developing global security strategies spanning Enterprise IT and Product security roadmaps
  • Extensive knowledge of business risk and real-time risk assessments for enterprise and product services
  • Exceptional ability to translate cyber threats into business and sustainability impacts for Executive Management and the Audit and Compliance Committee
  • Experience presenting cybersecurity strategy, incident response, and risk posture directly to public-company Boards and Audit Committees
  • Experience managing compliance with global privacy, cybersecurity, and digital operational resilience regulations
  • Ability to build coalitions and inspire interdisciplinary teams toward unified global security goals
  • Experience negotiating SaaS, Cloud, and Managed Security Services contracts with global vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident response and disaster recovery in high-pressure situations involving critical infrastructure
  • High ethical standards and values-based leadership
  • Prior experience in distribution, logistics, ecommerce, retail, manufacturing, or similarly complex operational environments preferred
