About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key finance partner to Marketing and Business Development organizations
Lead planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting for approximately $70M of global operational expenses
Lead month-end close activities, including accruals, purchase order tracking, reconciliations, variance analysis, and coordination with Accounting
Prepare monthly operating expense reporting and perform detailed variance analysis across actuals, budget, and forecast
Monitor and analyze operating expenses and business trends to identify risks, opportunities, and forecast impacts
Partner with leaders to evaluate investments, initiatives, and spending priorities
Develop and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and management reporting
Provide ad-hoc analysis and strategic financial support for cross-functional initiatives
Improve processes and implement new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Coordinate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Credit, Procurement, and Financial Planning and Analysis to resolve issues and support business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in general financial analysis or accounting
2+ years experience exercising in a consultative capacity to senior leadership
Demonstrated prior experience developing and producing comprehensive financial modeling
Tableau preferred and/or Power BI experience
Proven experience developing discounted cash flow models to support financial planning
Experience using financial systems and prior reporting experience for a multi-segment business
SAP experience a plus
Experience developing forecasts and operating plans
Exceptional analytical skills, including linking results to drivers
Clear, concise, and effective communication across organizational levels, including executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and assertive
Ability to make consistent and timely decisions
