About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will co-shape the strategy, corporate policy, organization and sustainable development of Erste Immobilien KAG together with the Executive Board
You will be responsible for fund management, investment and transaction management, as well as strategic asset and portfolio management
You will further develop investment, fund and portfolio strategies and manage performance, risk, liquidity, financing and sustainability objectives
You will hold overall responsibility for property acquisitions and disposals and for robust due-diligence, valuation and decision-making processes
Together with Risk Management, Compliance, Legal and other control functions, you will ensure effective governance and regulatory-compliant corporate management
You will represent the company to supervisory bodies, owner representatives, investors, banks, authorities and market partners
You will lead and develop the investment organization in Austria and coordinate collaboration with teams and platforms in CEE
You will drive the further development of processes, reporting, data quality and digitalization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive leadership and profit-and-loss responsibility in real estate investment, fund management or institutional asset-management environments
Experience at executive management, managing director or an equivalent senior leadership level
Proven track record managing large real estate portfolios, funds or investment platforms
Solid expertise in fund management, investment management, asset management, transactions, financing and real estate valuation
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in a KAG/AIFM-related environment
Experience working with supervisory and ownership bodies, investors, banks and independent control functions
Entrepreneurial judgment, high personal integrity and suitability to assume an executive management role
Fluent German and English (business level)
Experience as a managing director, board member or executive of a regulated financial or real estate company and market knowledge of CEE are advantageous
