About the role

  • Assessment of the creditworthiness of large national and international corporates in Austria and CEE
  • Deciding on loan applications either within your discretionary approval authority or preparing a clear recommendation to the final decision maker
  • Responsible for a dedicated portfolio of corporate client groups with a focus on healthcare, pharmaceuticals and the services industry
  • Defining risk strategies for clients and the industries covered
  • Participating in client meetings
  • Collaborating with various departments and CEE subsidiaries within Erste Group
  • Contributing to Group and department projects alongside the credit process

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or Law
  • Proven experience in Corporate Banking (Account Manager/Risk Manager/Credit Analyst/Corporate Finance) with at least 3 years in these areas
  • Familiarity with lending products and basic legal principles
  • Strong analytical, written and presentation skills in German and English
  • Flexible and resilient, able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from other departments and CEE subsidiaries in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel (occasionally)
