About the role

  • Provide local IT support for resolving requests from the BCR Payments Services SRL subsidiary located in Sibiu County;
  • Provide remote IT support for assigned incident, for users in BCR branches;
  • Receive, record, classify, prioritize, and escalate incidents requiring on-site intervention to the external local IT support service provider in the CA Unicenter Service Desk application;
  • Receive, record, classify, prioritize, and escalate incidents related to IT equipment repairs or procurement to equipment and service providers in the CA Unicenter Service Desk application;
  • Update the database information in the CA Unicenter Service Desk application regarding IT equipment (CMDB) based on data provided from units and internal inventories; ensures the quality of this information and its consistency with the actual situation in the field;
  • Monitor and applies the bank's security policies, while also providing support for the implementation of respective standards and policies;
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects. The role, reporting line and activities are defined according with each project;
  • Periodically verify the resolution of IT incidents by the external service provider, reports findings to the coordinator, and proposes corrective measures;
  • Perform any other tasks related to their work and activity, assigned by the hierarchical superior, and which do not contravene the legal provisions in force.

Requirements

  • Secondary education and/or specialized software and/or hardware courses in the IT field;
  • Higher education in a specialized field - automation or another discipline in the IT field;
  • Minimum specialized experience: 2 years;
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system, Windows management, Windows applications, Office 365 suite;
  • Knowledge of PC’s hardware and software components;
  • Knowledge of the bank's strategic objectives;
  • General knowledge of the bank's products and services;
  • Nice to have: knowledge in using SSCM tool, knowledge about Citrix platform;
  • English language (professional level).
