About the role
- Act as a lead consultant on multiple client engagements with limited direction, managing complex financial deliverables and timelines.
- Understand client financial business requirements and provide expert guidance throughout design, configuration, and prototyping, while assisting clients with testing and move-to-Production efforts.
- Support clients during critical financial cycles and events such as Month-End and Year-End Close, 1099 Processing, Annual Budgeting, and Audit preparation.
- Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status, scope changes, and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Integrations) to ensure clear lines of communication and cross-module project alignment.
- Accurately maintain project forecasts and billable hours in a timely manner.
- Assist the Sales team with oral presentations, system demos, and scoping Level of Efforts (LOEs).
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Workday Financials or related financial systems
- Knowledge of Core Financials and modules such as Procurement, Expenses, Projects, Business Assets, and Supplier Accounts
- Experience in troubleshooting Workday Security and building custom reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
