About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze requirements, user stories, and test cases to identify automation opportunities and define automation scope.
- Perform automation feasibility assessments, POCs to recommend optimal automation solutions
- Collaborate with Automation Architects and stakeholders to recommend automation strategies, tools and standards
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation components using standard client tools (e.g. Datadog)
- Automate testing across Web/UI, API, Database, Desktop, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
- Integrate and execute automation suites within CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot failures, analyze results, and ensure script stability and maintainability
- Manage test assets, execution results, defect lifecycle, and reporting in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Analyze automation metrics, trends, and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement and optimization
- Prepare and present automation status reports, dashboards, risks, issues, and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with automation standards, governance processes, and best practices.
- Conduct/execute manual testing as needed
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
- Execute test cases/scripts
- Document test evidence and results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Software Testing
- Hands-on experience in automation tools and platforms such as DataDog, Power Automate, and other industry-leading automation solutions
- Proven experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining enterprise-level test automation frameworks and solutions
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise application environments
- Certification in automation testing is an advantage
- Experience in Financial Services and Banking domain is an advantage
