Project Manager, Software Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead demanding software development projects in hybrid setups (on-site & shoring)
- Responsible for the successful delivery of software solutions with respect to budget, schedule, scope and quality
- Close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure well-founded technical decisions
- Translate business requirements into concrete technical concepts and actionable solutions
- Active involvement in presales and presentation of technical solution approaches to clients
- Collaboration with nearshore/offshore teams in international delivery setups
- Take on additional roles in smaller projects — for example, business analysis or requirements engineering
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics (ETH, university, UAS/FH or HF)
- Several years of experience leading software development projects
- Mandatory experience in software development or a solid technical background in the software engineering domain
- Ability to communicate with developers on equal terms and understand technical contexts
- Experience with agile project methodologies and working with hybrid project teams
- Experience collaborating with nearshore/offshore teams is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
