About the role
- Develop and maintain complex configuration rules including bill of materials (BOMs), option lists, manufacturing constraints, and conditional logic.
- Program and optimize rules that generate accurate manufacturing outputs across multi-level product structures.
- Leverage AIPS (Application Integration Process Services) and other Infor tools to ensure seamless data flows between ERP, CPQ, and manufacturing systems.
- Apply logical operators, conditions, and dependencies to accurately represent real-world business requirements in the configurator.
- Continuously troubleshoot and refine rules to resolve conflicts, ensure accuracy, and improve performance.
- Lead development and maintenance of ERP and CPQ systems, including Infor CloudSuite and Infor CPQ.
- Create and maintain product models in the CPQ platform to ensure alignment with order entry and manufacturing processes.
- Develop solutions using Infor proprietary tools such as LPL, Configuration Console, and IPA (Infor Process Automation); build workflows, forms, fields, and relations within CloudSuite.
- Develop and maintain reporting using SSRS and Infor reporting tools; write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.
- Partner with product management, engineering, and production teams to capture requirements and provide production support and enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Experience with rule writing and complex configurator logic (BOMs, conditions, options, dependencies).
- ERP experience - Infor LN preferred or experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle.
- Experience with Infor CloudSuite and Infor CPQ.
- Strong skills in IPA (Infor Process Automation), Configuration Console, File Creation Utility, and AIPS.
- Proficiency in SQL Server development (T-SQL/SSIS) and reporting tools (SSRS).
- Familiarity with CPQ scripting languages and web application styling.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn innovative technologies and platforms.
