About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ERP Operational Process Specialists supporting engineering and manufacturing
- Serve as trusted partner with business and IT leaders to ensure ERP functionality supports multi-campus engineering and manufacturing operations
- Align ERP (Infor LN preferred) functionality with operational needs: workflows, work instructions, routings, component part numbering, product configuration, change management, deviations
- Support data integrity, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making within engineering and manufacturing teams
- Provide end user support and training and participate in testing and validation of ERP changes impacting engineering and manufacturing
- Collaborate with IT on upgrades, new modules, and enhancements; advise on ERP optimizations
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to streamline workflows, strengthen data integrity, and deliver measurable improvements
- Lead organizational and CPQ change management within engineering and manufacturing and provide management reporting on ERP initiatives and impact
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Business/Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience leading and using/deploying ERP functionality across Engineering & Manufacturing
- Preference for Infor LN; experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics also considered
- Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes across engineering and manufacturing
- Ability to interpret engineering and manufacturing requirements to define ERP functionality that aligns with business processes
- Experience with ERP reporting and analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and train end-users
- Leadership experience mentoring and developing a small team of ERP/Operational Process Specialists
- Adaptability and eagerness to grow alongside an evolving ERP system
