About the role
- Conduct advanced dispersion modelling
- Lead permitting analysis
- Support environmental assessments
- Design air quality monitoring plans
- Advance clients’ progress on greenhouse gas inventories and emission reduction programs
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Strengthen environmental stewardship
- Help clients adapt to emerging climate policies
Requirements
- Bachelors in environmental, mining or chemical engineering, atmospheric science, or a related field (post‑graduate degree considered an asset)
- 2-3+ years of direct consulting or industry experience
- Demonstrated experience with CALPUFF and AERMOD air dispersion modelling
- Experience supporting Environmental Assessments
- Strong understanding of air emissions, emissions reporting, and regulatory compliance processes
- Advanced spreadsheet and database proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and travel as needed
- Preferred Experience: Developing air quality permits within Alberta and BC.
