About the role

  • Play a pivotal role in guiding mining, energy, and environmental stewardship projects from early proposal development through to final report completion.
  • Help bring clarity and structure to complex environmental initiatives by coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans that influence schedules, budgets, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Work directly with clients to understand goals and steer technical teams toward solutions.
  • Keep work on track, on budget, and aligned with commitments through project controls.
  • Support a broad range of environmental projects and foster collaboration across ERM’s internal networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience in the mining and/or energy sector.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage environmental scopes of work.
  • Detailed oriented with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with internal governance and direction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline driven environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated competence with core project management practices (change management, risk management, quality management, financial tracking).
  • Demonstrated financial literacy, with the ability to lead project controls activities such as budget tracking, cost forecasting, invoicing support, and understanding project financial performance.
