Lead all permitting efforts for vegetation management, including preparing and performing QA/QC on encroachment permit packages
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to resolve constraints and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality for complex environmental projects, keeping everything on track and aligned with client goals
Facilitate planning sessions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation to meet municipal and environmental regulations
Communicate data collection needs and seamlessly incorporate findings into project workflows
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and boost program efficiency, helping clients achieve annual performance targets
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and provide proactive updates throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, project management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in permitting, planning, or environmental project management
At least 2 years managing vegetation management projects and multi-disciplinary initiatives
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving strategies in a fast-paced consulting environment
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet), GIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across disciplines
Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines
Preferred PMP or equivalent certification
Familiarity with vegetation management programs and regulatory frameworks
