About the role

  • Oversee the negotiation process of clinical study agreements on assigned trials, acting as SME to sponsors and stakeholders\n
  • Plan CSA execution strategy in line with study start-up delivery plans and client expectations\n
  • Prepare CSA templates, payment terms, budgets including fallback positions and negotiation parameters\n
  • Organize and lead CSA kickoff meetings with Ergomed staff globally\n
  • Lead CSA negotiations at study level, finalize and execute CSAs per timelines\n
  • Negotiate directly with sites in assigned countries; escalate out-of-parameter queries as needed\n
  • Coordinate and maintain documentation status reports and department tools; update team members regularly\n
  • Manage site and study level discussions on fair market value of investigator budgets and payment terms within standards\n
  • Ensure smooth negotiations and repeat business with Sponsor; maintain relationships\n
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal, finance, and clinical operations teams; communicate legal and budgetary issues\n
  • Be accountable for Site Contracts delivery of assigned projects\n
  • Perform other duties as assigned\n
  • Note: UK candidates considered as well.

Requirements

  • BS degree in law, business, life sciences, a health-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n
  • Strong CRO operational experience with a track record of success in Site Contracts Management working in an international or global capacity\n
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, drug development and clinical project management procedures\n
  • Understanding of the specific country requirements pertaining to Site Contracts delivery in one or more regions (but at least in the country of residence) and the ability to work across geographic regions\n
  • Ability to mentor and coach lesser experienced staff and supports SSU Management on all administrative or departmental activities\n
  • Good presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills\n
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), outlook and Internet\n
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines, delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment\n
  • Attention to attention to detail, effective oral/written communication skills along with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines\n
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to teach/mentor lesser experienced team members
