About the role
- Participate in the development and deployment of the company’s strategic directions
- Determine the resources allocated to the department
- Propose to Management the required evolutions of the company’s quality policy
- Establish process mapping and ensure processes are defined, implemented and maintained
- Define and organize the implementation, monitoring, measurement and continuous improvement of the QMS (Quality Management System)
- Raise staff awareness about compliance with customer, legal and regulatory requirements
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits
- Manage system-level quality relationships with customers and suppliers
- Control internal and external non-conformities and produce regular reviews
- Encourage the drafting of FHA (process non-conformance reports)
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering (or equivalent) preferred
- Significant experience in the space sector (minimum 5 years)
- Quality management / project quality assurance experience
- Rigorous and well-organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Good listening and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and able to propose improvements
- Previous participation in audits
- Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100, ECSS)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (REACH, CE)
- Familiarity with quality methods and tools (5S, 5M, statistical tools, 8D…)
- Knowledge of EREMS activities and associated terminology
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
