• Acquires the skills and knowledge to provide engineering and analytical support for the wholesale market and grid operations
• Prepares and validates models of the electric power systems
• Applies principles of electricity market theory to understand market behavior and outcomes
• Investigates methods for data analysis to develop improved analytical tools
• Monitors and analyzes the wholesale electricity market
• Generates and maintains market reports per requests and protocols
• Assists the management team and senior experts in providing technical assistance to PUCT, industry and stakeholder groups
• Recommends, reviews and tests proposed changes to the ERCOT wholesale market systems and design
• Under supervision, helps to ensure all wholesale market activities have been successfully completed per protocols and works closely with Market Participants to resolve issues concerning wholesale market and grid operations

Market Operations Engineer

• Manages, plans, leads and executes audit and advisory procedures, internal controls over operations and IT processes, systems, and applications throughout the organization
• Executes and delivers projects and communicates clearly and concisely at an executive level
• Reports to the Chief Audit Executive (CAE)
• Evaluates and improves the organization's risk management, internal controls, and governance processes
• Leads audit teams to meet the organization’s goals, business requirements, and business processes

Threat Intelligence Specialist

• Provides analysis using knowledge of security concepts, principles and practices applicable to security administration
• Uses technology systems and applications to monitor security threats and operational risks
• Analyzes multiple sources for timely, accurate, and relevant information
• Prepares detailed threat assessments and travel advisories
• Reviews pre-hire background and screening information
• Recommends actions and changes that will protect the organization’s people, assets
• Functions as a subject matter expert and contributes to the development of new processes
• Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways
• Responds to and reports on security threats, providing initial assessment of impact severity

• Analyzes multiple sources for timely, accurate, and relevant information with potential impacts to facilities, employees, and assets.
• Prepares detailed threat assessments and travel advisories in support of employee and executive travel.
• Recommends actions and changes that will protect the organizations people, assets and ensures security processes, procedures and systems are in compliance.

Senior Intelligence Analyst

• Supports and ensures the reliability, performance, and integrity of enterprise data platforms across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Works as part of the Data Operations team to monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot incidents, support migrations and releases, and maintain platform stability.
• Owns day-to-day operations of assigned data platforms or pipeline domains.
• Investigates and resolves moderately complex incidents with minimal supervision.
• Performs root cause analysis for recurring issues and documents corrective actions.
• Coordinates with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams during deployments and incident resolution.
• Implements monitoring enhancements and automated health checks.
• Participates in disaster recovery testing and data validation exercises.
• Optimizes SQL queries and pipeline performance under guidance.
