About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage cases from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and e-file court documents

  • Coordinate discovery and trial preparation
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and case calendars

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of recent paralegal experience in a U.S. law firm
  • Experience supporting at least two practice areas (Litigation, Criminal, Estate Planning, Probate, Family Law, Immigration, Bankruptcy, Corporate, Employment, Personal Injury, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a remote environment
  • Availability for at least 20 hours per week
  • Technical Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Electronic court filing (state and/or federal)
  • Legal research experience
  • Experience using legal case management software
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office
  • Windows-based computer preferred
