About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, review, and submit insurance, advisory, and investment product applications
- Ensure applications are complete, accurate, compliant, and in good order
- Track case status and follow up with underwriting and operations
- Provide advisors with timely submission updates
- Handle client service requests including account maintenance, beneficiary updates, transfers, withdrawals, and inquiries
- Execute service requests according to firm policies, regulations, and service expectations
- Maintain accurate client records
- Support client review preparation by gathering account data and preparing meeting materials
- Conduct inbound and outbound client calls for service, appointment confirmation, and follow-up
- Identify new opportunities as clients’ financial goals and circumstances evolve
- Coordinate client meetings, annual reviews, and advisor follow-ups
- Prepare meeting agendas, documentation, and post-meeting action items
- Partner with assigned financial advisors to understand practice needs
- Manage task queues and workflows within the Advisor Assist framework
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Underwriting, and Service Center teams
- Support audit readiness and comply with supervision, documentation, and compliance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience demonstrating strong foundational skills and commitment to financial services
- Active FINRA Series 7 registration
- Active FINRA Series 66 registration, or equivalent Series 63 and 65 registrations, within 60 days of hire
- Resident State Life and Variable Insurance Licenses within 30 days of hire
- 2+ years of successful experience in sales or the financial services industry
- Thorough knowledge of proprietary and non-proprietary products and investment products offered through LPL
- Experience with Salesforce and ClientWorks systems
- Experience building and managing customer relationships
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Ability to interpret information and support sound client recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of cross-selling strategies, tools, and techniques
- Knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques
- Knowledge of sales proposals and presentations
- Knowledge of sales scoping and qualification techniques
