About the role
- Prepare, submit, and track state insurance regulatory filings
- Maintain regulatory filing calendars and ensure timely completion of all required submissions
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and business teams to gather and validate filing information
- Coordinate company responses to state insurance department market conduct examinations
- Maintain organized documentation and tracking of examination materials, regulator communications, and company responses
- Monitor state insurance regulatory developments, bulletins, and examination trends
- Serve as a liaison between the company and state insurance regulators on administrative and filing matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of professional experience in insurance, regulatory affairs, compliance, legal support, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance regulatory filings, regulatory affairs, compliance, or related insurance operations role
- Proven success in handling sensitive regulatory information
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
