About the role
- Serve a portfolio of strategic clients, with a primary focus on Life insurance, while also having knowledge of Health and Dental processes and the ability to support benefits-related requests such as meal allowance (VR) and pension/retirement plans.
- Verify, process and send billing to clients, as well as post entries in management systems and organize files on the network.
- Process member and registration changes with carriers/providers, monitoring and reporting results.
- Support clients, insureds, beneficiaries and HR with inquiries related to contracted benefits.
- Receive, analyze, input and follow up on claims processes with insurers (Quiver and COL).
- Prepare and monitor claims/loss ratio indicators.
- Develop process manuals and support system implementations and validations.
- Train and guide new employees.
- Deliver presentations and host Q&A sessions when required.
Requirements
- Knowledge or prior experience in Life, Health, Dental and Benefits processes.
- Experience with billing, member changes and claims.
- Familiarity with management systems (Quiver and COL).
- Strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to serve as a technical point of reference.
