About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensures proper documents and records are maintained for corporate entities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Drafts minutes or resolutions of the Board and its committees
Advises on ad hoc legal or regulatory issues affecting Equinix's business
Develops and coordinates US and global regulatory management policies and programs
Provides training on internal procedures, forms, and policies
Drafts, advises on, interprets, enforces, and occasionally trains employees on company policies
Participates in and contributes to global legal initiatives and project working groups
Identifies any violations or potential violations of corporate governance rules
Assists in developing, disseminating, and reviewing template contract documentation
Reviews, interprets, and negotiates agreements and transactions
Supports the Finance department in relation to preparation and finalization of accounts
Prepares SEC disclosure documents
Identifies and advises on intellectual property related issues affecting Equinix’s business.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven years experience completing tasks similar to the above for a law firm or in-house legal department preferred
JD or equivalent required
Current active member of a state bar association or legal association applicable to jurisdiction of hire required.
