Engineer

• Effectively interacts with other internal and external teams, including design engineering, regional/site critical facilities engineering teams, onsite support vendors and consultants on projects, and policies/procedures to resolve complex matters.
• Has thorough understanding of advanced electrical, fire protection, and HVAC systems operation including advanced optimization strategies and deficiencies.
• Develops and executes projects across multiple functional groups.
• Map infrastructure objects into the Equinix Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system for monitoring using BACnet, Modbus, OPC and other industry standard communications protocols.
• Troubleshoot elements of the controls system, including field devices, controllers, network components and software systems.
