About the role
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to the Marketing organization
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting across full operating expenses
- Perform variance analysis including actuals vs. forecast and actuals vs. budget
- Analyze financial results, identify key trends and drivers, and prepare reporting materials for management
- Partner with HR to maintain accurate headcount forecasts and support headcount reconciliation
- Complete purchase order approvals and partner with Accounting to ensure accuracy in financial reports
- Ensure SOX compliance by reviewing financial data
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and support special projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Hyperion preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
