About the role
- Own global payroll input processes and ensure timely, accurate submission to payroll teams
- Maintain controls, validations, compliance standards, and quality assurance
- Drive automation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of robotics and AI to streamline workflows
- Responsible for monitoring performance, managing escalations, and ensures delivery against defined processes
- Ensure proper communication channels are available for knowledge management updates and policy changes
- Collaborate with regional payroll teams, Finance, and People Solutions for aligned execution
- Prepare presentations and operational reporting for leadership
- Lead the team with accountability and empathy while championing a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
- Proven years in payroll operations or HR shared services
- Proven experience managing global payroll input processes and controls
- Strong compliance and audit background
- Good data and reporting skills; experience with dashboards and performance monitoring
- Experience implementing automation solutions and familiarity with AI-driven tools for process optimisation
- Familiarity with Workday and payroll vendor platforms desirable
