About the role
- Performs basic preventative maintenance checks on-site on non-critical facility components
- Performs basic repairs and maintenance on non-critical facility components
- Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) by following standard operating procedures; works under close supervision to respond to basic alarms
- Coordinates with vendors according to standard operating procedures
- Supports basic site documentation for permits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs) and scripts
- Completes routine work order facility requests under supervision
- Assists with routine incident management requests
- Provides support to other departments during routine maintenance activities
- Provides basic assistance to more senior staff on infrastructure projects; may shadow projects for learning
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an electrician / electronics technician / energy electronics technician / refrigeration and air conditioning technician or a comparable qualification
- Further training to become a technician or master craftsman (Techniker / Meister) is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience; data center experience desirable
- Independently perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on technical systems and building infrastructure (electrical, refrigeration, HVAC)
- Operate technical systems and equipment
- Maintain proper system-related documentation
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Independent and careful working style, with good communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Willingness to work shifts (24/7 full shift operation)
- Strong commitment and a customer-oriented attitude complete your profile
