About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support, maintain, and troubleshoot internal web application components using Python and JavaScript
Assist in designing and maintaining simple data integrations from source systems into the cloud environment
Investigate application issues, analyze problems, identify root causes, and escalate to senior team members
Perform basic data quality checks and monitor infrastructure component health
Participate in the software deployment process
Create and maintain technical documentation in internal repositories
Support critical internal web applications and gain hands-on experience with full-stack application support, cloud technologies, and data pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM subject
1 year of practical experience, including internships or academic projects, in software development or data engineering
1 year of experience with foundational programming skills in Python and JavaScript
1 year of SQL experience for data querying and analysis, including CTEs, joins, partitions, clusters, normalization, denormalization, and transactions
Minimum English proficiency level of B2 or B2+
Experience or familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or managing DAGs
Hands-on academic or internship experience using modern Python web frameworks
Introductory understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably GCP or AWS, or related cloud certifications
Familiarity with basic data modeling skills
Willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving ability in a collaborative team environment
