About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot internal web application components using Python and JavaScript
- Assist in designing and maintaining simple data integrations from source systems into the cloud environment
- Investigate application issues, analyze problems, identify root causes, and escalate to senior team members
- Perform basic data quality checks and monitor infrastructure component health
- Participate in the software deployment process
- Create and maintain technical documentation in internal repositories
- Support critical internal web applications and gain hands-on experience with full-stack application support, cloud technologies, and data pipelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM subject
- 1 year of practical experience, including internships or academic projects, in software development or data engineering
- 1 year of experience with foundational programming skills in Python and JavaScript
- 1 year of SQL experience for data querying and analysis, including CTEs, joins, partitions, clusters, normalization, denormalization, and transactions
- Minimum English proficiency level of B2 or B2+
- Experience or familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or managing DAGs
- Hands-on academic or internship experience using modern Python web frameworks
- Introductory understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably GCP or AWS, or related cloud certifications
- Familiarity with basic data modeling skills
- Willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving ability in a collaborative team environment
