About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide critical subject matter expertise on privacy and data protection
Evaluate and shape new business initiatives, processes, and applications across the enterprise
Partner with diverse teams across business units to operationalize the privacy program
Drive business growth
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Support the implementation, monitoring, and testing of global privacy controls framework
Assist in developing and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures
Conduct rigorous privacy impact assessments on applications, products, and processes
Monitor and track privacy and data protection regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA
Enable the responsible use of AI and machine learning through automated governance processes
Contribute to privacy-specific training and awareness materials across the organization
Manage data privacy program metrics, KPIs, and reporting to Senior Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of three (3) years of direct data privacy, data protection, or privacy engineering experience
More than five (5) years of professional work experience
Strong preference for experience within the financial services or FinTech industries
In-depth understanding of privacy policies, principles, and privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs)
Strong familiarity with privacy control frameworks
Documented experience interpreting privacy regulations and conducting privacy impact assessments across diverse cloud environments
Proven project management and coordination skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
