About the role
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate data governance controls into solution design
- Develop and implement metadata solutions for robust data definitions and documentation
- Deliver training and guidance on data governance policies and procedures
- Perform data audits and assessments for compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data management and governance processes
- Manage change management activities related to data governance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 5-7 years of proven experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles
- Familiarity with Agile and other project management methods
- Hands-on experience with data governance tools (Collibra preferred, experience with Informatica or similar tools considered)
- Proficiency in data management, product and work management tools (Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
