About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the strategy, development, and execution of training programs tailored to the USIS sales organization
  • Lead, develop, and mentor an Instructional Designer while managing project priorities and maintaining accountability for end-to-end execution
  • Develop and execute the Sales University training strategy and roadmap covering product, tools, and sales skills training
  • Manage design tool renewals, licenses, access permissions, and payments
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, HR, and Sales Operations & Enablement on sales training and change management
  • Review and approve training content and communications for instructional integrity
  • Observe instructor-led training, provide feedback, conduct focus groups, and recommend program improvements
  • Lead instructional design governance to ensure brand consistency and high learner experience standards
  • Manage the external sales skills training vendor relationship, contract utilization, budget, learning roadmap, and business reviews
  • Ensure LMS compliance and cross-train team members as Workday Learning content managers
  • Track instructional design projects in Smartsheet and maintain organized project folders weekly
  • Analyze learning data in Tableau to identify trends, skill gaps, and relationships between learning and performance
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training programs as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a learning and development role in a corporate environment
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of learning professionals
  • Demonstrated success managing external vendor relationships, monitoring contract utilization, and managing learning budgets
  • Experience with instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, and Camtasia
  • Experience with Workday Learning, Smartsheet, and Tableau
  • Deep, demonstrated knowledge of adult learning and best practices in instructional design and facilitation
  • Active industry certification, such as CPTD, is a potential differentiator
  • Previous experience or deep familiarity with B2B selling principles and sales-team operational/enablement challenges is a potential differentiator
  • Demonstrated experience researching and leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate and optimize instructional design productivity is a potential differentiator
