About the role

  • Produce a cohesive design theme and suite of digital and print materials for ERA’s 52nd Annual Gala Luncheon
  • Present 2–3 creative concepts following a consultation with ERA staff
  • Design digital promotional materials for website, event microsite, social media, and e-newsletters
  • Create video/animated versions of some social designs
  • Produce 2 program presentations for projection during the event
  • Design approximately 5 foamboard displays and a program booklet/pamphlet
  • Incorporate images/photos and text provided by ERA into all deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with ERA staff and respond to 1–2 rounds of feedback per deliverable
  • Deliver all final files in required formats and provide a detailed cost estimate as part of the proposal

Requirements

  • Experienced Graphic Designer or Design Team
  • Portfolio with examples of event materials and digital promotional work
  • Submit Cover Letter, Portfolio, Project Approach, Budget, and at least two professional references
  • Ability to present 2–3 creative concepts and iterate based on feedback (1–2 rounds typical)
  • Proficiency designing digital promo assets sized for website, event microsite, social media, and e-newsletters
  • Ability to create animated/video versions of designs
  • Experience producing print materials (foamboard designs, program booklet/pamphlet) and large-screen program presentations
  • Ability to integrate client-provided images/photos and written copy into deliverables
  • Provide final files in required formats
  • Ability to meet project timeline and deadlines
  • Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States
