About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Optimize the performance, safety, and reliability of natural gas gathering, compression, processing, and transportation infrastructure.
Support engineering design and project execution across midstream assets.
Provide technical support on gas compression and processing systems.
Develop engineering designs, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) in compliance with standards and codes.
Generate and evaluate project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for installations and upgrades.
Support construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of midstream facilities.
Create operational documentation and provide technical training.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related engineering field).
Valid drivers license.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and process engineering principles.
Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.
2+ years of engineering experience within midstream or natural gas systems (preferred).
Exposure to natural gas gathering and processing projects (preferred).
Familiarity with: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet (preferred).
