About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Optimize the performance, safety, and reliability of natural gas gathering, compression, processing, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Support engineering design and project execution across midstream assets.
  • Provide technical support on gas compression and processing systems.
  • Develop engineering designs, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) in compliance with standards and codes.
  • Generate and evaluate project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for installations and upgrades.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of midstream facilities.
  • Create operational documentation and provide technical training.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related engineering field).
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and process engineering principles.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% and work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience within midstream or natural gas systems (preferred).
  • Exposure to natural gas gathering and processing projects (preferred).
  • Familiarity with: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet (preferred).
