About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source and close new-business deals with UK schools and multi-academy trusts, owning the full sales cycle end-to-end
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers, from classroom teachers to C-suite and central pedagogical leadership
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events across the UK
  • Manage shorter transactional deals and longer complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to and help shape the sales culture as the team scales
  • Build and manage a personal pipeline
  • Travel regularly across the UK to visit schools and attend events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clear track record of career progression
  • Genuine ambition and a results/money-driven mindset
  • High energy and persistence
  • Sharp problem-solving instincts; analytical or engineering backgrounds are advantageous
  • Confidence discussing commercial terms and pricing with senior decision-makers
  • Sociable, credible presence and ability to thrive at events and build trust quickly
  • 2+ years in a tech or SaaS sales environment is a strong plus, ideally in a closing/Account Executive capacity
  • Strong SDR-to-AE progression and hunger to close may be considered in lieu of exact title history
