About the role
- Execute a series of AI experimentation sprints throughout the summer, each focused on a defined Finance or business output (e.g., management reports, financial analyses, performance narratives, decision support materials)
- Work from problem statements and target outcomes, without prior exposure to existing processes or templates, to independently explore alternative AI‑first approaches
- Leverage AI tools and platforms with a strong preference for Microsoft Copilot and tools within the enterprise ecosystem, including Power BI, Excel automation, and analytics capabilities
- Apply business and finance judgment to ensure outputs are relevant, decision‑useful, and aligned with how Finance leaders think about performance, risk, and trade‑offs
- Produce experimental outputs alongside concise documentation outlining:
- Tools and techniques used
- Time and effort required
- Key insights, limitations, and learnings
- Partner with Finance leaders and subject‑matter experts to review results and identify which experiments may be refined or operationalized
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a closely related field with a minor in Finance
- Have strong language agnostics coding experience (Java, python, #C, C++) and AI experience (ChatGPT, Co-pilot, Claude, and/or Gemini)
- Hands‑on familiarity with modern AI tools, including:
- Prompt‑based “vibe coding” and rapid experimentation
- AI copilots (preference for Microsoft Copilot)
- Data and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, or similar)
- Comfortable speaking the language of business and finance (e.g., performance, drivers, trade‑offs, efficiency, outcomes), even if not formally trained as an accountant
- Strong interest in applying artificial intelligence to real business problems.
- High curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to learn tools independently
