About the role

  • Proactively analyze and adjust customer credit limits to ensure optimal risk management
  • Drive the cash application process, ensuring accurate and efficient payment allocations
  • Regularly review and resolve uncleared items to maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Manage sales order processing and ensure adherence to credit policies
  • Lead credit control efforts: monitor overdue accounts and perform follow-ups to resolve outstanding payments
  • Manage and refine credit administration workflows and documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and employee expense reports
  • Monitor outstanding payables and support month-end closing through reconciliations and reporting
  • Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and collaborate with internal departments on cost allocation
  • Support improvements and automation initiatives for accounts payable workflows
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders and adapt to evolving processes

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in credit administration, cash application, accounts payables or related financial roles
  • Proficiency in SAP considered an advantage
  • Experience in the S4Hana environment considered a significant advantage
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, pivot tables, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook for documentation and communication
  • Strong Italian and English communication skills (written and spoken), at least intermediate level
