About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, identifying key drivers and providing insightful commentary.
Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
Support the annual audit process by preparing requested documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Participate in cost analysis projects, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights to support operational decisions.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a diagnostics or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP), and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is essential.
Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
