About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, identifying key drivers and providing insightful commentary.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Support the annual audit process by preparing requested documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Participate in cost analysis projects, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights to support operational decisions.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a diagnostics or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP), and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is essential.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
