About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP
Ensure tax requirements for local group subsidiaries are met
Post business transactions in the general ledger and process outgoing payments
Post and reconcile intercompany accounts receivable and payable
Support projects and process optimizations in reporting and compliance
Support or prepare VAT returns according to local GAAP

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial or business vocational training
Several years of practical experience in financial accounting, preferably in General Ledger
Advanced qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant), Steuerfachwirt (tax specialist) or comparable qualification
Solid knowledge of financial accounting under IFRS and local GAAP
Good knowledge of national VAT and income tax law
Proficient in SAP R/3 and MS Office, especially Excel
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
