About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform mobile diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial fleet trucks and trailers
- Service trailer components including brakes, suspension, landing gear, air lines, electrical systems, and light body repair
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, emissions systems, cooling systems, exhaust, DEF systems, and drivetrain components
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure DOT and safety compliance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on-site
- Operate and maintain a fully equipped mobile service truck
- Accurately document services performed using mobile or written logs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and safety
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 or more years of diesel and/or trailer repair experience
- Mobile repair experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, air systems, and electrical
- Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs in the field
- Strong customer service skills and clear communication
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to manage daily workload independently
