About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design and deployment of enterprise security solutions across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and AI environments
Assist in implementing and managing DLP, EDR, IAM, SIEM, and secure web solutions
Identify, assess, and remediate security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats across infrastructure, applications, and AI services
Contribute to AI security efforts, including evaluating generative AI usage, data exposure risks, and shadow AI activity
Partner with cross-functional teams to align systems with security and governance standards
Participate in testing and evaluation of emerging security technologies, including AI-focused tools
Develop technical documentation, playbooks, and governance guidelines
Stay current with evolving cybersecurity and AI-driven threats

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0–2 years of experience in IT, systems, networking, or cybersecurity
Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs
Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
Basic security fundamentals, including authentication, least privilege, and encryption
Interest in AI/ML concepts, generative AI, or AI-related security risks
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Familiarity with identity and access management or directory services
Experience with endpoint security, SIEM tools, or vulnerability management
Knowledge of large language models, APIs, or ML models
Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting/automation
Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or other security/logging platforms
Entry-level certifications such as Security+, AZ-500, SC-900, or AI-900
Exposure to NIST or ISO security and AI governance frameworks
