About the role
- You will be joining a dynamic team as an HR Business Partner, supporting the United States and Canada regions.\n
- You will work closely with the global HR team and senior leadership on impactful HR projects.\n
- Your role will be pivotal in driving change and executing new business initiatives.\n
- Consult regularly with management and provide guidance to drive change and execute new business initiatives.\n
- Assess and anticipate human resources related needs.\n
- Consult on employee relations in the United States and Canada, partnering closely with functional HR Business Partners.\n
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business leaders and collaborate with colleagues in human resources to develop solutions, programs, and policies.\n
- Maintain regional HR policies and monitor employment legislation changes to ensure compliance.\n
- Execute HR programs and communications focused on driving employee engagement, working closely with site leaders across the United States and Canada.\n
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.\n
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with the legal department as needed.
Requirements
- General understanding of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational analysis and development, employee relations, talent management, staffing, and country and local employment laws.\n
- Self-starter with high emotional intelligence.\n
- Takes initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and makes continuous improvement recommendations.\n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization.\n
- 3+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.\n
- Bachelor of Arts degree (or equivalent experience).\n
- PHR Certification preferred.\n
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in meeting business needs with technology solutions, with ERP knowledge being highly advantageous.\n
- Customer Service Experience: Minimum of three years related experience (preferred but not essential), with customer service experience being valued.
