💰 $125,000 - $140,000 per year
About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the Strategic Business Unit’s market presence
- Build and maintain new client relationships and expand existing accounts
- Solicit, recruit, and evaluate potential new business focused on long-term SBU goals
- Act as liaison between the SBU, client facility staff, and internal implementation/service teams
- Maintain client contact lists, networks, and active industry conversations both in person and remote
- Lead pricing, negotiation of terms, contract negotiation, and closing of advantageous accounts
- Sell and build rapport with executive teams including Vice Presidents and C-Level Executives
- Create and maintain effective process and information flow between business development and other departments
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activity and provide feedback to management
- Work with departmental leaders to develop creative solutions for prospective clients
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet division and company goals
Requirements
- Three years of sales and management experience, preferably in healthcare staffing and/or consulting services
- Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify business needs
- Ability to analyze work, set goals, and develop plans of action
- Strong customer focus; attend to needs and expectations of customers
- Negotiation skills including pricing, contract negotiation, and closing accounts
- Ability to establish rapport and maintain mutually productive relationships
- Experience selling to and building rapport with executive teams including Vice Presidents and C-Level Executives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; engage effectively in dialogue
- Experience maintaining client contacts, networking, and business development activities
