About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Structure and grow long‑term partnerships with EPI members across Europe
  • Drive merchant acquisition and Wero acceptance , ensuring progress against defined objectives
  • Support the acquisition and onboarding of new members and acceptance providers
  • Represent and promote Wero within the European payments ecosystem
  • Support EPI’s engagement with a portfolio of members and prospects , contributing to sales and business development activities across all EPI markets
  • Work closely with EPI acquiring members to structure relationships (community and bilateral meetings), ensure regular follow‑up, provide internal reporting, and enable efficient merchant acquisition for Wero acceptance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry
  • Strong understanding of the payment transaction flow (Issuing / Acquiring)
  • Proven experience in influencing, selling, and negotiation within the financial industry
  • Strong account management, presentation, and networking skills
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality work and report on KPIs
  • Strong customer‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a remote‑first, multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English
  • German or French is a strong plus
