About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards for relevant payment KPIs
Analyze and interpret payment data across the entire payment journey
Derive actionable recommendations from data analyses
Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities related to conversion, costs, and payment performance
Support pricing and calculation models in the acquiring environment
Provide data-driven decision support
Work closely with various departments and support them with well-founded analyses

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in business informatics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business administration, or a comparable field of study
At least 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role
Ideally, experience in the payments, FinTech, or e-commerce sector
Excellent SQL skills
Experience with databases, data warehouses, and statistical analysis
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI
Experience using modern AI tools to analyze and prepare data
High level of self-motivation, strong analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work
Confident communication skills in German and English
