About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a Controller (m/f/d), you are the driving force behind clear analyses and precise reports that keep the company on course financially.
With your instinct for numbers and data, you provide valuable insights and support well-founded, data-driven decisions.
You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP.
You produce forecasts, perform variance analyses and provide commentary on results for management.
You create meaningful ad-hoc analyses and reports that serve as the basis for informed decisions.
You identify optimization opportunities in existing controlling processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
You support the further development of our reporting and BI landscape and work on data-driven solutions to enhance transparency and decision quality.
You handle inquiries from external auditors and Internal Audit and provide the necessary information.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally complemented by experience in accounting, auditing or a comparable finance environment.
You are proficient in Excel and routinely use data-driven analyses to support control and decision-making.
You have an interest in accounting logic and understand the fundamentals of financial reporting.
You are proactive, present yourself confidently and work collaboratively with various stakeholders up to the management level.
Ideally, you have experience with BI tools and a good understanding of modern data-driven reporting and analysis approaches.
