Requirements

What you’ll need

You are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.
You take ownership of forecasts, perform variance analyses and provide commentary on results for management.
You prepare meaningful ad-hoc analyses and reports that serve as the basis for well-founded decisions.
You handle requests from external auditors and Internal Audit, providing the necessary information.
You identify optimization potential in existing controlling processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
You take responsibility in cross-functional projects and contribute your finance expertise to strategic and operational topics.
You support the further development of our reporting and BI landscape and work on data-driven solutions to improve transparency and decision quality.
You have several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally complemented by experience in accounting, external audit or a comparable finance environment.
You are proficient in Excel and routinely use data-driven analyses to support management and decision-making.
You are passionate about numbers, data and analysis — while also able to prepare complex content in an audience-appropriate way and communicate it clearly.
You have an interest in accounting logic and understand the fundamentals of financial reporting.
You present yourself confidently and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders up to management level.
You have experience working on projects and in creating reports and reporting tools.
You have worked with BI tools and have a strong understanding of modern data-driven reporting and analysis approaches.
