About the role
- Ownership of Software Quality: You are responsible for ensuring high software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- End-to-End Testing Expertise: You plan and execute manual and automated testing for mobile applications, including functional, UI, and cross-browser testing.
- Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis: You identify, prioritize, track and analyse defects, driving preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: You work closely with cross-functional development teams to continuously improve quality standards and testing processes.
- Release Readiness & Reporting: You validate release readiness, execute test cycles, and clearly communicate test results and quality status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: You have a technical degree or a comparable education and at least 5 years professional experience.
- Tech-Stack: Ideally, you have experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, tools like Git and Notepad++, and working with databases.
- Must-Have: You have hands-on experience in setting up QA processes, defining testing strategies, and performing software and hardware testing.
- Personality: You are motivated and resilient, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Language Skills: You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment in any situation; German is an advantage.
- Location: Your workplace is in Martinsried near Munich.
