About the role

  • You are passionate about developing stable and scalable backend systems
  • Design, develop and implement robust and scalable backend services using C# and .NET
  • Design and deliver RESTful APIs (including clear API documentation) for our frontend and external partners
  • Integrate external APIs and ensure smooth data exchange
  • Implement authentication and authorization concepts, preferably using OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Develop and maintain data storage solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, either on-premises or in the Azure cloud
  • Implement logging, monitoring and tracing solutions to track application performance and load
  • Ensure code quality through unit and integration tests as well as code reviews
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab and GitLab Runners

Requirements

  • Strong experience in backend development with C# and modern .NET versions (.NET 8+)
  • Confident working knowledge of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and an appreciation for good documentation
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Understanding and application of software architecture principles (e.g., microservices, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design)
  • Team player with experience in code reviews and creating unit and integration tests
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally and actively collaborating with frontend teams and other stakeholders
  • Solution-oriented, analytical mindset and a structured way of working
