About the role
- Design and develop the electrical system for a Part 25-certified hybrid/electric aircraft
- Technical integration of aeronautical electrical systems
- Participate in Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) and System Safety Assessments (SSA)
- Collaborate with the team of electrical systems engineers and suppliers
- Clearly communicate progress against individual milestones
- Ensure all electrical systems meet aviation/aerospace standards
- Participate in electrical system testing and validation
- Stay informed on industry trends and lead integration efforts
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years in the aerospace industry within a manufacturer or OEM environment
- Deep knowledge of complex electrical systems, technologies, systems integration, power quality, and aerospace certification processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred
